Crayon Roll

Yep, I was at it again! It's funny, I was thinking I was going to have a hard time making stuff. But come to find out, if I see it, pretty sure I can make it!! I don't have a tutorial that I followed, just kinda thought about it and made it(hoping it was right ;) ). I have only made one, but plan on making more one day!

Not so bad for my first one, but I am thinking the next one I am going to sew the lines before I add the back. I am thinking it will look better.

Fabric Key Chain

I haven't post in a while, but I decided to make a fabric key chain. I got the tutorial from here http://www.theidearoom.net/2009/08/fashionable-fabric-key-chains.html. This woman is awesome! I will be making more from her. Here are the two that I made.

I love the way they came out. Just need to work on the edges. I plan on making Redskin ones for a couple of people too.

Today is the day

Well actually Christmas day was. That is when my loving husband got me something I have been asking for, well for about 2 years.

A SEWING MACHINE!!!

That's right folks, my husband of 6 years finally got me something that I have really wanted.

So the question is, Do you know how to sew? HAHAHA! Funny you should ask that cause I haven't sewn anything since Home Ec. in High School! So yeah I am going to try it out, well I have already tried it out.

The first thing I made was a mitten for Andrew. I was trying to make 2 but the first one he couldn't fit his hand in(I know big jokes), so I just used that one to see what stitches I could do. So that was my tester.

So I made another mitten. But still wouldn't fit Andrew, but hey this time it fit Adrian(pretty good).

So my third and last mitten I made, actually fit Andrew. But I didn't make a matching one. (I ran out of the fabric) So that will be have to made at a later time. lol!

Well on my third day of having my sewing machine, I decide to just up and make a tote bag. I am pretty much happy with the way it came out. I mean it isn't anything special but I am pretty sure I can use it as a library bag.

In the mist of making this tote/bag, Emma got finished with her bottle and decided she was bored in her chair. She wanted to get out. When I asked her what she was doing, this is what I got.

It melted my heart, so I stopped working.

So I have had my sewing machine for 4 days and I have made 4 different things. One of which I can use.
