It has been a while!

But I finally to make something tonight. I got some Valentine Mickey Mouse fabric from a friend. So since Valentine's Day is coming up, why not make a table runner? So that is just what I did.

I have been wanting to make one of these for my son, Andrew. He loves playing the game. So why shouldn't I make one he can carry in the car? I googled and saw a few sites, but I don't remember the ones I looked at. So here is my version!

Carys' Birthday Gifts

My Best Friends baby's birthday is this week. She asked me to make her a Tutu. So I did.

But for her gift from me is some flannel pants. First pants I have ever made, and just by making them, I thought it would be my last pair! I had such a hard time figuring out what went to what. UGH! Made my head spin. (And thats what I get for not using tutorials or patterns!)

But I finally got them together(after having to take them apart about 5 times), and I think they look wonderful. Well I still have to add the elastic. Couldn't go out last night cause of out BIG snow storm. HAHAHA!

Emmalina's Blanket

It has always been my dream to make my baby girl a blanket. And since I now have a girl, here is my chance! I didn't make anything special, just took some flannel, some ribbon(for the tags) and some other fabric(to make her initial). I am proud of her blankie but I really need to work on making blankets. LOL!

Laptop Bag

Again, no tutorial, just figured it out on my own. I up and decided I was going to make a laptop bag for my friend, Amanda. So said that she didn't have one, so why not make her one. LOL!

So I put a A on it for her name and I put a pocket in the back to hold her charger.

and BTW she LOVED it!!

Crayon Roll

Yep, I was at it again! It's funny, I was thinking I was going to have a hard time making stuff. But come to find out, if I see it, pretty sure I can make it!! I don't have a tutorial that I followed, just kinda thought about it and made it(hoping it was right ;) ). I have only made one, but plan on making more one day!

Not so bad for my first one, but I am thinking the next one I am going to sew the lines before I add the back. I am thinking it will look better.

Fabric Key Chain

I haven't post in a while, but I decided to make a fabric key chain. I got the tutorial from here http://www.theidearoom.net/2009/08/fashionable-fabric-key-chains.html. This woman is awesome! I will be making more from her. Here are the two that I made.

I love the way they came out. Just need to work on the edges. I plan on making Redskin ones for a couple of people too.
