My New Diaper Bag!

I am so excited! I have finally stop putting off making a diaper bag. Remember Amanda, the one who gave me all the thread? Well she gave me some fabric and I really liked it, so I went for it. I googled the heck out of some diaper bags and well, I really like this one! So I measured everything like she said and VOILA! Here is my Diaper Bag.

It has a cell phone pocket in the front. 2 bottle holders, sippie cup holder, wallet holder, and key holder. Just what I needed!

...who feed to your addiction! I have to say a HUGE thank you to my bestie Amanda! She gave me 2 tubes of thread. And this isn't your everyday thread, either. This was her Grandmother's thread. It is a honor to know that I am sewing with thread from a really awesome person who could raise such great people! Laura and Amanda are wonderful woman and I am happy to say that I know them.

Not sewing, but thought I would share.

Today was a big day in this household. Not only did my baby turn 9 months on the 21st, but she is getting her top two teeth and she was baptized today. We decided that we would make all the food. Not so hard. I also made the cake(I don't like it), which turned out okay.

And since I have made the other 2 kiddos pillows, I had to make the other one too. So I took some of the Mickey Mouse fabric and some satin fabric and TADA!

We are having issues with the kids at church. They wont sit still and if we let them bring a car they end up crashing them together(really loud). So I thought bringing crayons and color book. But I hate having to sit and find them in the diaper bag. So I came up with this idea to make my own. It has a pocket to hold a notepad on the left side and then 2 layers for crayons, markers, or crayon pencils. I forgot to put the handles on when sewing it together, so I have to take it apart to put them in but it shouldn't be to bad.

Here is the one I made for my 6 yo. He loves it.

Oh yeah I had some fabric left over, so he asked me to make him a pillow!

It has been a while!

But I finally to make something tonight. I got some Valentine Mickey Mouse fabric from a friend. So since Valentine's Day is coming up, why not make a table runner? So that is just what I did.
